A Serbian government official said Friday the country would soon be exporting vehicles to the United States. The first shipment of 3,000 Fiat 500L cars are being prepared for shipment, said Aleksandar Ljubic, state secretary in the Serbian Ministry of Economy and Finance, in a Radio-Television of Serbia broadcast. Tanjug reported Fiat would soon be shipping Fiat 500XL models to the United States, as well. "Besides the automotive industry and IT technology, intensive talks are ongoing to ensure that Serbia has a semi-conductors plant in its own territory, the second largest in Europe," Ljubic added. He said Serbia's track record with the investment community is impeccable. "Today, there is not a single investor that has left Serbia," he said.
