The Sanitary Engineering Planning and Projects Director of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Eng. Nazha Abu Hindi revealed that the Ministry has achieved 65% progress in Muqaba Sewerage Network Project Block 517.
According to Abu Hindi, the project aims to connect 60 houses and real estates to the network. Work comprises of extending 670m long main connections, 860m long sub-connections, and constructing 106 inspection chambers. The project is expected to complete by the end of this year.
The project comprises of extending 827m long main connections, 566m long sub-connections, constructing 100 inspection chambers and connecting 90 houses and real estates to the network.
The BD184,909 project was earlier awarded to Abdul Karim Al Jahrami Contracting.
The project is part of other sanitary projects planned for the Northern Governorate, including two projects being implemented at the Northern Governorate. The two projects are the main sewerage line for sewerage works related to West Budaiya Housing Projects (Phase 2) and Sadad Sewerage Network Project (Phase 2).
