
The Regulation Authority of the Post and the Telecommunications (ARPT) published Thursday a national call for tender for the launch and the exploitation of public networks of third generation mobile communications (3G). The bids can be submitted for the launch and the exploitation of the public networks of third generation mobile communications (3G) as from “1st August 2013," ARPT said in the call published by the press. The authority precises that the call is destined to the operators which exploit the network of mobile communications in Algeria for obtaining the three licenses of third generation mobile communications public networks and the provision of services to the public. Minister of Post and Information and Communication Moussa Benhamadi had declared that the licenses of 3G and 3G+ mobile telephony will be brought into service as from 1st December
