An agreement will be inked Thursday between Tourism and Craft Industry Ministry and five private banks to strengthen funding opportunities of the sectors’ investment projects, said Monday in Oran Tourism and Craft Industry Minister Mohamed Amine Hadj Said. Invited at Ouest-Tribune Forum, the minister said that this agreement, which will be inked with a group of private banks, aims at providing investors in tourism with banking support and ensuring the implementation of their projects. This agreement comes after the one concluded with six state-owned banks for the same purpose, said Hadj Said, underlining that such agreements “are important for the development of tourism infrastructures, increasing their accommodation capacity and the promotion of service quality.” On this occasion, the minister welcomed the approval of 130 new tourism investment projects which will be carried out at the level of 40 tourism expansion zones (ZET) in 16 provinces.
