
The Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan Abdal-Rahman Hassan Abdal-Rahman has praised the supporting stances of the bank of Beirut to Sudan and its valuable efforts it extended to the Sudanese banking system This came when Abdal-Rahman met at his office Sunday with the visiting delegation of the Bank of Beirut led by the Chairman of the Bank's Board of Directors. Abdal-Rahman affirmed that the central bank started to reinforce its reserves of the foreign exchange balances as it continues in subsidizing strategic commodities such as wheat, gasoline and agricultural inputs. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beirut Bank, for his part, announced their full commitment to extend all facilities to the Sudanese banks besides backing and confirmation of the documentary letters of credit from other banks.
