
General Manager of the soft loans department in the Export-Import Bank of China Bank (China Exim Bank) arrived in Sana'a on Monday on an official visit to the country for several days. Transport Ministry Undersecretary Abdullah al-Ansi said that the Chinese official would hold talks with officials in the Ministries of Transport and Planning over the project of deepening the port of Aden. Al-Ansi said that the Chinese and Yemeni officials will sign an agreement to transfer the soft loan amount of $507 million to the company that will implement the project according to the agreement, which was signed during the visit of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to China last December. He added that the Chinese delegation will visit on Tuesday the project's site in Aden province.
