Emirates NBD named 'Best Bank in UAE'

Emirates NBD, recently announced that it had been named the "Best Bank in the UAE" at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2013. Rick Pudner, Group CEO, Emirates NBD, and Ahmed Al Marzouqi, General Manager - Retail Distribution, Emirates NBD, received the award on behalf of the bank during an award ceremony, which was recently held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The new accolade reiterates Emirates NBD's position in the UAE as a successful regional player and signifies the bank's efforts to succeed. It also reflects Emirates NBD's ability to achieve its strategic objectives and accomplish its vision and mission. In addition to awards for best banks and securities houses in almost 100 countries around the world, the Awards for Excellence by Euromoney, the world's leading financial markets magazine, include 25 global awards for banking and capital markets. All the awards aim to recognise institutions and individuals that demonstrate leadership, innovation, and momentum in the markets in which they excel.
