
The Board of Executive Directors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in its 295th session, which concluded at its headquarters here yesterday, approved new funding worth more than 705.18 million dollars focused on the sectors of infrastructure and human development in the member States in addition to the education sector in Muslim communities in non-member States.Among the countries targeted by IDB new funding; Azerbaijan, Arab Republic of Egypt, Member Countries of Economic and Monetary Union of West Africa, Burkina Faso, Mali, Bangladesh, Suriname, Cameroon and Benin.The Bank has also approved granting aid to Muslim communities in the IDB non-member countries.
