The National Bank of Abu Dhabi, NBAD, has won the UAE Best Branch Performance and Best Customer Service Initiative awards. NBAD received the Best Branch Performance from Ethos Consulting, while the International Customer Service Institute named NBAD as having the Best Customer Service Initiative for its NBAD Service Ambassadors. "I extend my thanks and appreciation to Ethos Consulting and the International Customer Service Institute and above all to our esteemed customers. These awards confirm NBAD's commitment to our bank's value propositions that promise that we put our customers at the forefront and do the right thing the right way," says George Beatty, the General Manager of Consumer and Elite Banking of NBAD. Beatty continued, "NBAD is driven by our understanding that banking is in essence a service industry and success is achieved by meeting our customers' expectations and appreciating their business by creating value for them. This understanding drives our customer-centric practices and values." The NBAD Service Ambassadors initiative was launched last year and continues to expand. Under the programme, more than two dozen NBAD branches are staffed by officials who ensure that each customer gains the most from a branch visit and is also aware of all NBAD products and channels for use. "The NBAD Service Ambassador role has successfully differentiated the NBAD brand and customer experience and we intend to expand it," says Ruth Kelly, the Head of Customer Experience at NBAD. "NBAD continues to study, analyse and work to build on our successes to improve our customers' service and experience. Our aim is to build the largest, safest and best bank in the UAE and furthermore in the GCC." NBAD has one of the largest branch networks in the country with 125 branches and over 585 ATMs across all the Emirates.
