
The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced Sunday that it completed last week provision of new banknotes to all local banks in order to meet the demands of citizens and residents for the new currency during this period of the year. Executive Director of the Information Technology sector and banking business Hana Abdul Razak Razzuqi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this action comes on the occasion of the advent of Eid Al-Fitr. Razzuqi said those wishing to get the new banknotes must check with their banks during the official working hours.
