
Central Bank of the UAE has announced that effective Monday, it will be issuing a commemorative gold coin and a commemorative silver coin on the occasion of the Emirates NBD's Golden Jubilee. The face of the two coins depict the expression "Golden Jubilee" circumscribed by the phrase "Emirates NBD 50th Anniversary" in Arabic and English scripts, while the back of both coins depict the logo of the occasion circumscribed by the phrase "Emirates NBD 1963-2013". "It should be known that all coins have been delivered to Emirates NBD, hence it will not be available for sale to the general public through banks," said a statement by the Central Bank.
