
Medical supplies department, affiliated with Cairo Chamber of Commerce, will hold on Sunday an emergency meeting to discuss the repercussions of passing a draft law of (authority of medicine).
The Pharmacist's Syndicate tendered the bill to the Health Ministry which in turn would forward it to the House of Representatives.
In a statement Friday, head of the department Mohamed Isma'el Abdo said the syndicate's representatives have been invited to the meeting which will also be attended by a number of MPs.
The meeting will deal with the draft law as well as alternatives to the law suggested by specialists in order to avoid its negative impacts on the medical investments, and Egypt in general.
