Malaysia Airlines, Qantas and Nok Air are selling special fares at the Thai International Travel Fair at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre up until Sunday 19 August. Malaysia Airlines offers discounts on its economy class fares to various destinations for departures from both Bangkok and Phuket. They are good for bookings between 16 and 22 August and for departures from 19 August to 30 September. All inclusive fares are: Bt9,345 to Kuala Lumpur (Bt5,410 from Phuket); Bt13,925 to Jakarta; Bt14,980 to Denpasar; Bt23,110 to Perth; Bt27,745 to Sydney; Bt27,130 to Melbourne; Bt27,435 to Adelaide; Bt33,140 to Auckland; Bt37,255 to London; Bt32,665 to Amsterdam; Bt34,560 to Frankfurt and Bt33,490 to Paris. Qantas sells economy class promotional fares to Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide) for Bt27,030, while fares to New Zealand (Christchurch, Auckland or Wellington) sell at Bt33,145. These fares are for travel until 30 November. Passengers are able to book travel at the fair, through travel agents or via www.qantas.com before 31 August. Nok Air quotes a one-way fare at Bt1,290 for all destinations except Phitsanulok, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani and Chiang Mai-Mae Sot that have a fare of Bt1,090. Bookings must be made during the fair and the travel period is 23 August to 30 November. From ttrweekly
