The Tourism and Sports Ministry has launched the 'Miracle Thailand: Believe in Chiang Mai' project to promote tourism and meeting and incentive businesses in the province. Tourism Department Director-General Supon Sripan yesterday presided over the opening ceremony of the event at Chiang Mai Hall in Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport. The event is aimed at promoting the meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) business in the northern province. Activities were held during August 20-21 to give a good grounding on tourism business to tour guides, tourists, students, and related agencies. Over 500 participants are expected attended the two-day seminar on the future and opportunity of the Thai MICE business. From thainews
