
Air China has launched a new route from Beijing to Barcelona via Vienna, the company announced on Monday. Airbus A330-300 planes will be used every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, the airline said. Flight CA841 will leave Beijing at 2:10 a.m., stop in Vienna at 6:10 a.m. and reach Barcelona at 9:25 a.m (all local times). Flight CA842 will take off from Barcelona at 11:25 a.m., reach Vienna at 13:25 p.m. and arrive in Beijing at 5:55 a.m. the next morning, according to the company. In the past decade, the number of Chinese travelers to Europe has surged with annual double-digit growth. Air China provides over 100 flights between China and Europe every week.
