Sarajevo will start direct flights to the German capital Berlin in April, the Sarajevo International Airport announced on Friday. The first flight will be on April 15, it said. There will be two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a round-trip cost at about 100 euros (135 U.S. dollars) to 250 euros depending on the date of booking. Flights will depart from Berlin at night and from Sarajevo in the morning hours, according to released schedules. Airports in BiH are in expansion due to more tourists coming from other European countries. Sarajevo started direct flights to Belgrade and Moscow in the past months.
