According to Hong Kong's Tourism Board (HKTB) tourism statistics, Hong Kong has attracted a massive number of tourists who hailed from mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Europe, Australia and America. The total number of visitors reached about 22.3 million with an increase of 15% in the first half of this year (2012).
