Israel, EU sign open skies agreement

Israel has initialed the open skies agreement with the EU regulating air travel between both sides. The agreement will liberalize air travel between Israel and the EU and is expected to notably increase incoming flights to Israel, encouraging European tourism in Israel, Israeli television said Tuesday. The implementation of the open skies agreement may sharply lower air fares, Israeli Minister of Transport Yisrael Katz said.
