
Kuwait International Airport has released its passenger traffic report for the national celebrations holiday from February 24 to March 1st, according to Director of operations management Essam Al-Zamil. Al-Zamil told Kuwait news Agency (KUNA) on Thursday that the number of passengers arriving at the airport reached 114,589 through 612 flights. Airport authorities are furnishing the passengers with proper greeting, decorating the facility with national celebrations' items, also handing the passengers the Kuwaiti flag, roses, badges and gifts starting next Sunday, he noted. The number of departing passengers reached 116,080 through 616 flights, mainly heading to Dubai, Istanbul, Jeddah, and Mashhahd, said the Director. Arriving passengers traffic increases on Thursday February 27 and Saturday March 1 through 105 and 107 flights, he also added. Moreover, Al-Zamil noted that the departing passengers traffic increases on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 of February through 106 and 108 flights.
