Marriott Rewards and Ctrip have partnered to offer Chinese travellers a variety of hotels and reward opportunities when they stay at 3,600 participating hotels around the world. Marriott Rewards members can now earn Ctrip points when they stay Marriott International’s hotels globally, and in celebration of the partnership, Marriott Rewards and Ctrip is offering members a Double Ctrip Points welcome offer. Ctrip members who join Marriott Rewards and elect to earn Ctrip points as their earning preference, will earn double Ctrip points for their stays at any of the participating hotels globally before 15 November 2012, up to a maximum of 50,000 points. Enrollment in the Marriott Rewards programme and registration for the promotion are required. Members must elect to earn Ctrip points as their earning preference to qualify, and can register for the promotion any time before 15 November 2012. Terms and conditions apply. “This industry-first partnership brings together the leading hotel loyalty programme and the leading travel agency in China to provide the best possible customer service and guest experience to Marriott Rewards members and Ctrip users in China,” explained Simon Cooper, president and managing director of Marriott International Asia Pacific. “It reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of Chinese guests and partnering with exceptional Chinese companies such as Ctrip.” Ctrip members, who also join Marriott Rewards and designate Ctrip as their earning preference, will receive twenty Ctrip points per US$1 spent at the following Marriott International brands, JW Marriott, Autograph Collection, Renaissance Hotels, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Vacation Club and Edition (room rate only). Members will also be able to receive ten Ctrip points per US$1 spent (room rate only) at the following brands, AC Hotels by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments. Members will also be able to earn twenty Ctrip points per US$1 spent on room rate only at Ritz-Carlton hotels.
