The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the extension of the Dubai Metro service hours from today to August 22 in view of the Eid Al Fitr rush. These days, the metro trains will run from 5.50am to 1am, instead of 12 midnight. The metro will start operation at 1pm today. The CEO of the RTA’s Rail Agency Adnan Al Hamadi said: “Extending the metro working hours echoes the RTA’s strategy aimed at delivering top-quality services to all spectrums of the community at the highest standards of the industry worldwide. “This step has been taken to ensure the delivery of best-in-class services during special occasions in order to offer citizens, residents and visitors transit services through the metro up to 1am and help them enjoy the holidays of Eid Al Fitr.” From : Khalij
