Riva Surya Bangkok, a new hotel managed by SilverNeedle Hospitality, will open on 15 August 2012. The 68-room boutique hotel is located on the Chao Phraya River, surrounded by some of the city’s most treasured historical sites. The hotel is within walking distance of Khao San Raod, and connects to the city center via Bangkok’s most distinctive mode of transportation – the river boat from Phra Arthit Pier. The hotel will offer four room categories, Urban, Riva, Chao Phraya View and Premium Chao Phraya View; ranging from 30-48 square meters. All rooms will feature high quality bedding, contemporary Thai furnishings and large working spaces with the latest technology and complimentary Wi-Fi access. babble & rum café is the hotel's market inspired all-day-dining coffee shop and garden lounge. With home cooking as the focus of the menus, the café will serve a simple menu using locally sourced produce. The Mezzanine Bar will offer a selection of cocktails and other beverages. Leisure facilities include a 14 meter pool and a fitness centre.
