Strata Manufacturing, Mubadala Aerospace’s advanced composite aerostructures manufacturing facility based in Al Ain announced the appointment of Badr Al Olama as CEO. Al Olama, an Emirati, has held the role of Senior Vice President for Mubadala Aerospace leading the development of Nibras, the Al Ain Aerospace Park, a joint initiative between Mubadala Aerospace and Abu Dhabi Airports Company. Nibras will serve UAE-based aerospace businesses, and will also attract global aerospace organizations to establish their regional headquarters in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and city of Al Ain, promoting further economic diversification and job creation. Al-Olama has served as a Deputy CEO of Strata since April 2011. Chairman of Strata and Executive Director of Mubadala Aerospace Homaid Al Shemmari stated: “Badr’s knowledge, experience and dedication will ensure that Strata maintains its growth trajectory and achieves its objective of becoming a leading supplier of composite aerostructures to global aircraft manufacturers.” “As Strata’s new CEO, I look forward to advancing Strata in the global aerospace market.
