
Two Egyptian players from Tala'ea El-Gaish club won gold medals at the 2016 Modern Pentathlon World Championships held in Moscow.
Two brothers, Amr el Gezeiry and Omar el Gezeiry, of modern pentathlon came first during their participation in Egypt's national team comprising three players.
The Egyptian national team defeated Russia in the final match that was attended by more than 10 thousand spectators.
The two players therefore earned qualification for the Modern Pentathlon event at 2016 Summer Olympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as an unprecedented achievement.
