
The TV show Austin & Ally and the film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 were the big winners at the Kids' Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend.
Austin & Ally was named Favorite Kids Show, and its stars Ross Lynch and Laura Marano were declared Best TV Actor and Actress. Modern Family was voted by young fans as their Favorite Family Show, while SpongeBob Squarepants won the title of Favorite Cartoon and Dance Moms scored the prize for Favorite Reality Show.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 was deemed Favorite Movie and its leads Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth won for Favorite Female and Male Action Star respectively.
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb hero Ben Stiller won the trophy for Favorite Movie Actor and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 co-star Emma Stone earned the accolade for Favorite Movie Actress. Angelina Jolie picked up the prize for Favorite Villain for her work in Maleficent and Big Hero 6 was named Favorite Animated Movie.
Kids' Choice Awards show host Nick Jonas went home with the award for Favorite Male Singer, while Selena Gomez won the matching Favorite Female Singer statuette and One Direction garnered the prize for Favorite Music Group. The Favorite Song honor went to Jessie J., Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj for "Bang Bang."
