Lebanese singer Sabine Atallah said her collaboration with musician Marwan Khouri was a dream come true. The two artists joined hand for the song ‘Akhar Hamek’ (Last of your Concerns), whose video
clip was shot by director Ingrid Bawab. Sabine said she met Marwan by chance, and that fate unexpectedly led her to his personal studio, where she chose to do the now-famous song.
Sabine explained in an interview with ‘Arabstoday’ that her with artist Ghassan Rahbani years ago was fruitful and significant, forming the base for the subsequent phases she went through, saying “the song ‘Baatly Email’ was my gateway to people, and without doubt working with Ghassan was wonderful, but our contract ended and I decided to work on my own. I waited till I had the opportunity to work with Marwan Khoury, who drew me into his very own romantic world.”
The Lebanese artist disclosed that the she is preparing to release a new song composed by Elias Rahbani, a step through which she promotes her career with poetry, music, and arrangements. She also stressed that she is betting on new talents in directing video clips, like ‘Akhar Hammek”.
It is worth mentioning that Sabine starred in this year’s Beirut Marathon, where she participated by singing and running with contestants, as well as reviving the ceremony held before the race in Buddha Bar nightclub in downtown Beirut.
