Many of the Egyptian movies and serie talk about the parents, especially the mother, but in the last period there was a lack of similar films or series. What is the reason ?We have the answer for this question. At first director Mohamed Fadel said that the last work produced about the mother was in 2003 in the series "Zeenat and her girls," starring Fardaus Abdul Hamid.
The reason for not producing more similar works is our lack for good scripts. Everyone searches now for police drama and there is no work combines the family, and this shortening of the art-makers in the Arab world, not only in Egypt.
While the critic Mohamed Mansi pointed out that the reason that we do not have more similar works of the mother in television production, noting that in the presence of television as a producer، we have watched a number of television works such as "ideal mother", directed by Enam Muhammad Ali and written by the late Fathia El-Assal.
Writer Magdi Saber said it is necessary to highlight the role of the mother in the drama even though it was working with a range of events, adding that there is in every family a mother, calling filmmakers to focus on motherhood in the next works.
