Youssef Shaaban is bewildered but healthy Egyptian actor Youssef Shaaban has expressed his deep surprise and confusion over rumours of his death. Youssef described how moments after the hearsay started to spread on Facebook his mobile phone “didn't stop ringing." Shabban confirmed to Arabstoday that he is in good health and said that despite the ridiculousness of the rumours, he was happy with reactions to the news, which he feels confirmed the love of his fans. He added that he hopes Egypt will “get through its current ordeal,” expressing his personal preference that the Egyptian people will say "No" in the referendum.
