
Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi patronized today an honouring ceremony of the first batch of Vocational Counseling Diploma graduates. He said by launching this diploma for teachers and social counselors, the ministry aims to provide assistance to the students, starting from the intermediate stage, in order to help them choose the appropriate tracks in the secondary stage that match with their inclinations, ambitions and professional capabilities.
At a ceremony held in the ministry's hall, the Education Minister said among the goals of the vocational counseling project at the intermediate schools is to encourage students to choose technical education for the close link of its specialisations with the local and international market needs. He stressed the quantum leap brought about by the ministry in this vital educational sector.
The Education Minister presented 51 graduate teachers and social counselors with their certificates, wishing them success. He also honoured experts and specialists at the Education Ministry for their contribution to implementing the diploma programme.
