
Egypt's Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy arrived here Wednesday evening to lead his country's delegation in the proceedings of the 42nd session of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries (GUCCIAAC), which started today in Khartoum.
In exclusive statements to MENA correspondent here upon arrival at Khartoum Airport, Hanafy said that the commercial and economic ties between Egypt and Sudan surpasses the simple concept of cooperation.
He further said that the two countries have joint borders, adding that the opening of road between the two countries to allow the passage of people and goods will contribute to achieving the aspirations of the people of Egypt and Sudan.
Meanwhile, Sudanese Trade Minister Osman Omar told MENA that the ties binding Egypt and Sudan are eternal.
He further pointed out to the visit paid by Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Sudan.
