
Assistant Foreign Minister for Neighboring Countries' Affairs Ossama el Magdoub returned home from Brussels, where he met with a host of European officials.
Magdoub also attended a session held by the committee on relations with the Mashreq countries at the European Parliament to discuss regional developments, especially the situation in Libya and the Egyptian efforts in this respect.
He also underlined the need of confronting terrorism and the importance of the European Union countries' support to the demands of the legitimate Libyan government to lift the arms embargo in order to confront the terrorist groups.
He further pointed out to the dangers facing Egypt as a result of the deteriorating conditions in Libya.
