Speaker of the European Parliament Martin Schulz began his two-day official visit to Turkey on Wednesday.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu received Schulz at his ministerial office in Ankara, where they discussed Turkey's accession to the European Union.
They also tackled the latest developments of the island of Cyprus as well as the commercial partnership across the Atlantic.
