
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, accompanied by a number of officials of the Abu Dhabi Government, toured the participating pavilions at IDEX 2015.
Sheikh Hazza was briefed on the latest products and military industries exhibited at the event.
He expressed his pride in the organisation of the IDEX which has become one of the pioneering platforms globally as it could attract the biggest companies specialising in military industries, and has become one of the important economic indexes in the field.
He added that decision-makers, officials and representatives of the biggest organisations, authorities and companies gather to discuss the latest in military sciences and the challenges faced by the world.
Sheikh Hazza expressed his pride in organising the global event in the UAE under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, which reflects the UAE's military development.
He also inspected the 8x8m Armoured Modular Fighting Vehicle "Enigma," the UAE's new achievement launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, produced by the Emirates Defence Technology.
He also expressed his admiration about the level of national skills which could, through determination, attain this achievement.
