
Malian Defense Minister Tieman Hubert Coulibaly and his accompanying delegation of top military brass left here on Wednesday, winding up a four-day visit to Egypt.
During the visit, the Malian minister held talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Egyptian counterpart General Sedqi Sobhi.
The minister offered condolences to President Sisi over the killing of Egyptian by the terrorist Daesh organization in Libya and handed over a message to the Egyptian president from his Malian counterpart.
He said Mali is looking forward for boosting bilateral relations with Egypt in all domains.
Mali backs the Egyptian airstrikes on Daesh targets in Libya, the minister said, voicing appreciation for Egypt's right to defend its national security.
