
Kwon Young-jin, Mayor of the South Korean city of Daegu, visited the UAE pavilion at the seventh World Water Forum, (WFF) which is being hosted in the city between 12-17 April He was briefed on the UAE's projects and plans in the sectors of energy, water and renewable and alternative energy that were showcased at the pavilion.
Mayor Young-jin expressed great admiration of the UAE pavilion and the illustrations, publications and other tools used to raise awareness about rationalising water and electricity consumption.
Organised every three years since its inception in 1977, the WWF, organised by the World Water Council, is considered the largest international platform for discussing issues related to water.
