
Court of Cassation Chairman, Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Deputy President Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Buainain inspected the new family court complex in Hunainya in West Riffa.
He was accompanied by Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry Undersecretary Wael Rasheed Bouallay, SJC Secretary General Judge Ali Ahmed Al-Kaabi and other officials.
The new judicial milestone includes family courts, an execution court, in addition to the department of obligations and gifts and another for family reconciliation.
Al-Buainain inspected ongoing preparations to relocate to the new headquarters and start judicial work, stressing the importance of the complex which will provide privacy in family-related cases.
The complex was established in compliance with the royal order dated November 2016, to allocate a complex specialized in family court cases.
“The new milestone becomes operational as the new unified family law takes effect, thus ushering in a new chapter in national legislations”, Al-Buainain said.
