Osama Heikal new Egyptian Media Production City chairman
New chairman of the Egyptian Media Production CityOsama Heikal

Osama Heikal has been chosen as new chairman of the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC).
EMPC board members unanimously chose Heikal in a meeting Tuesday, Egyptian TV chief Magdi Lashin told MENA.
He hoped Heikal would act to upgrade the media system in the coming stage.
Heikal held the post of minister of information after the January 2011 revolution.
