Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese visited on Thursday the History Museum of Armenia.
The pontiff listened to a detailed explanation about the Armenian genocide.
The pope began on Monday a week-long visit to Armenia to participate in the the 100th anniversary of the genocide.
The History Museum of Armenia is the country's national museum that specializes in the fields of Archaeology, Numismatics and Ethnography.
