President Obama Issues Emergency Declaration for Texas

US President Barack Obama has issued an emergency declaration for Texas to help in the recovery efforts following this week’s devastating fertilizer plant blast near Waco.
Under the order, the Federal Emergency Management Agency will "identify, mobilize, and provide at its discretion, equipment and resources necessary to alleviate the impacts of the emergency".
According to local authorities, the Texas explosion killed at least 14 people, and injured bout 200.
