Qatar's culture minister heads to China

HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari left on Tuesday headed to China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Cai Wu.
During the visit, HE Dr. Al-Kuwari will discuss means to promote cultural relations between the two countries in addition to the early preparations for the cultural year Qatar -China 2016 and signing a protocol thereon.
The State of Qatar has been actively participating in Arab cultural events held in China, especially in the Arab-Chinese Forum. On the other hand China is organizing cultural events in the State of Qatar on a regular basis, as part of the keenness of both sides to develop cultural relations in line with the strength of economic and trade relations between them.
