Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad congratulated by Southern Governor

Southern Governor Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa today congratulated HM the King's Representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the ANOC Merit Award conferred on him during a ceremony held in Doha, Qatar. 
Southern Governor said the award is another international achievement added to previous ones Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has earned. It is also a historic achievement added to the steadily progressing Bahraini sport thanks to the brilliant planning led by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and constant support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. 

He added that Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad was awarded in recognition of his outstanding efforts in upgrading the Bahraini Olympic sport. 

He stressed the award will be a new impetus for the Bahraini sportsmen to highlight Bahrain's standing in regional and international sport forums.
