UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura

UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura arrived here at dawn Monday coming from Turkey.
De Mistura will head for Damascus later today for talks with Syrian officials.
The UN is doing its best to freeze the conflict in Aleppo, de Mistura said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference Sunday.
Lack of trust between the Syrian conflicting parties hinders a ceasefire in the city, he added.
