US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew plans to visit South Korea for the first time since assuming his current position.
Seoul's Ministry of Strategy and Finance said Wednesday that Lew will come to South Korea on Thursday for a three-day trip that includes a meeting with South Korean Finance Minister Yoo Il-ho on Friday, according to Korea's (KBS WORLD) radio.
During the meeting in Seoul, they plan to discuss the economic and financial cooperation between South Korea and the US and exchange opinions about how to coordinate policies on multinational platforms, including the G-20.
