Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Djamel Ould Abbes held a working session in Boston (Massachusetts) with Executive Dean for Research at Harvard Medical School (HMS) William Chin, and announced that the two sides will sign a partnership agreement in Algiers soon. It is the second meeting between Ould Abbes and Chin in the capital of Massachusetts after that held in September. Accompanied by the dean of Algiers Faculty of Medicine, the general manager of Sidi Abdallah complex and the CEO of the national pharmaceutical group SAIDAL, the minister examined with Chin ways and means to establish partnership between the two sides. The agreement will enable Algeria to benefit from the experience of HMS in medicine training and medical research, and will also provide for collaboration in the project of the biotechnology hub in Sidi Abdallah. The discussions between the two sides helped to define strategic lines for "sound and lasting" partnership with Harvard University, a member of the delegation told APS.
