
Cairo Governor Galal Mostafa Saeed on Monday said all state's institutions do their best to preserve a healthy environment for the Egyptian citizens.
During a festival to deliver 20 natural gas micro-buses, he said the governorate paid a special care for developing nearly 10,000 micro-buses that serve about six million passengers in Cairo daily.
The governor added that a new comprehensive study was achieved about the micro-buses in Cairo resulted in counting 1,000 vehicles that have been made manufactured more than thirty years ago and pose a risk to the lives of passengers along with public and private property.
The concerned bodies signed a protocol, to be implemented in several stages, aims at replacing the oldest 1000 vehicles in Cairo, the governor said.
