
Health Minister Adel Adawi discussed with his Gambian counterpart Omar Sey boosting cooperation in health sector.
The cooperation will include health services, pharmaceutical sector, training and sharing expertise.
Both ministers tackled increasing the number of Egyptian pharmaceutical companies, investing in Gambia, as the Egyptian medicines have a great share on the Gambian market.
Adawi hailed the visit, asserting his country's interest in cooperation with African brethrens, especially in training, protection measures, and health convoys which were sent to many African countries.
The Gambian minister praises Egyptian physicians working in Gambia, and welcomed receiving more doctors to boost the health sector in his country.
