Saudi Arabia will host on February 4 the 79th conference of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Health Ministers Council under the title "measuring performance of health systems".
Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja, Director-General of the Executive Board of the GCC Health Ministers Council, said on Sunday the conference title coincides with the concept of World Health Organization (WHO) announced in 2000 that asserted the importance of measuring performance of health systems in light of updated information and new methods.
He added that the two-day conference comes within the framework of a new phase of Gulf joint action that aims to provide citizens with better health services.
