'Divorce will not affect my career'

The Jordanian actress and singer, Mai Selim Cairo - Mohammed Alwash The Jordanian actress and singer, Mai Selim, confirmed her separation from her husband, the businessman Ali Rifai, saying that the separation happened quietly and without problems, adding that "they are not yet officially divorced." On the other side, she is currently filming her new social romantic movie "The Wight Knight". Dora, Izzat Abu Ouf, Hany Adel, Ahmed Safwat, and Ahmed Wafik are co-starring in the film which was written by Dr Mohamed Refaat and directed by Atiya Amin. Mai expressed her happiness of the audience's reactions to the programme shown on MBC Egypt, to this she added: "This is another step in my artistic success and evidence of my ability to succeed in various fields." She confirmed that her personal life will not affect her professional life, evident by her participation in two series during Ramadan, even after giving birth to her first baby Lili. Mai is also preparing for the release of a new song entitled “Do You Hear Me?” written by Nader Abdullah and composed by Tamer Ali.
