Egyptian actor Mostafa Shaaban Cairo – Khaled Ali The Egyptian actor Mostafa Shaaban received many offers by several production companies to present a second season of the series “Al Zawga Al Rabaa” (The Fourth Wife) which was shown last Ramadan. The series was a great success and received rave reviews. Shaaban told Arabstoday that the decision will be taken in the next days after a meeting between him and the director Magdy el Hawary to discuss the possibility of preparing a second part. Shaaban said: “If the second season is full of interesting and different content than the first, then I won’t say no. Many series were extended to several seasons and have had great success. Look at the series “Layaly el Helmeya” (Helmeya Nights) which was produced in five parts.” The Egyptian actor is happy about the reaction to the series, although he believes it was subject to incorrect criticism. He said: “It wasn’t meant to offend anyone at all. I was accused of offending women in the first episodes, but is it logic to judge a series by only watching the first episode?” he asked. Shaaban also denied rumours of working on a film with the Egyptian actress Yosra. “I have no idea about this film,” he said, “but right now another film is being discussed but I will not give any details until the issue is clear.”
