Bashir hails Sudanese-Russian relations

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has praised Sudanese-Russian relations, calling for further cooperation. This came during a meeting with Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergei Donskoi and his accompanying delegation currently visiting Khartoum. The meeting tackled means of enhancing strategic relations between both countries and economic cooperation in the fields of transport and mining. Donskoi, accompanied by a delegation composed of ministers, businessmen and exports, arrived in Khartoum Sunday evening to participate at the first session of the Joint Sudanese-Russian Ministerial Committee on Economy and Trade.
